Did you know that the term "pit bull" is not actually a specific breed of dog? It's actually an umbrella term for dogs with certain characteristics.
So if you ever hear someone making negative comments about pit bulls, please give them a good whack on the head for me…and then show them the following video!
I don't understand how, in this day and age, there are still people out there who think pit bulls are aggressive and dangerous animals by nature, when most are just the opposite. For the millionth time, aggressive humans make aggressive dogs, not the other way around.
Unless they've had some traumatic experience, pit bulls are generally great with other dogs, small children, and, as we can see in the following video, other small animals, too. Zeus, an American Staffordshire terrier, could not be more loving toward his new friend, a kitten.
Bringing a new pet into the house is never simple, but this guy welcomed the new baby with loving arms. This precious video is proof that for every "mean" pit bull, there are hundreds more like this sweetheart.
