Bubble Artist Melody Yang Shows Off Her Talents With Queen Latifah

Tuning in to most talk shows, you're sure to see something crazy happening. I'm not talking about the battles and brawls some hosts are known for stirring up, but things like Jimmy Fallon allowing action star Harrison Ford to pierce his ear right onstage, or Steve Harvey hilariously attempting to master a new dance craze. It's those kinds of hijinks that keep us from channel surfing while we relax with the TV! Of course, the hosts also feature plenty of talented folks in their studios with skills ranging from beautiful to truly bizarre.

The young woman in the clip below is a little bit of both as she performs for the now-defunct Queen Latifah Show. Her name is Melody Yang, and she uses one of the most simple materials to craft stunning works of art: bubbles. Yang doesn't use typical soapy water for her designs, though, relying on a special formula she honed over the years of practice. Prior to showing her skills on Latifah's stage, the unique artist was able to crack a world record by covering 181 people with one of her amazing bubbles.

Here, Yang starts by creating some awesome combinations of crystal clear and smoky bubbles interweaving themselves in a totally hypnotizing way. It reminds me of playing with the brightly colored mini wands as a kid, but on a completely new level! Even with her secret formula, I doubt I would be able to half the tricks she completes with ease in the video.

She ends her set by inviting Latifah onto the stage for assistance. Take a look to see the incredible finale!
