Some fans think famed football coach Bill Belichick is engaged to his 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson. The couple attended the Super Bowl together on Sunday, February 9. Ahead of the big game, Bill, 72, and Jordon, went out for brunch in New Orleans, and Jordon was wearing a large diamond ring on her left ring finger, according to photos shared by the New York Post.

According to the news outlet, Jordon was wearing a large ring earlier in the week at the NFL Honors as well. However, she later clarified that she was actually sporting her cheerleading championship ring that night. That information did little to quell the engagement rumors, however, because Jordon was wearing the same diamond ring that she wore during the brunch outing when leaving the big game.
In a video obtained by the publication, as Bill and Jordon left the Super Bowl, people behind the camera congratulated them on their supposed engagement. “Congratulations on the wedding, on the proposal,” a person says to them. However, Bill and Jordon did not respond to the comments.

On X, fans shared their thoughts on Jordon’s ring. “The people need to know!” one person wrote on the platform.
While some fans believe the couple are engaged, others are skeptical. “Don’t think so,” another fan wrote. “But she’s doing her part with the shirt!! I love it.”
The relationship has garnered a lot of attention due to Bill and Jordon’s significant age gap. During an interview with Caleb Pressley on Sunday’s episode of the Sundae Conversation, Caleb asked former NFL quarterback Tom Brady an unexpected question about Bill’s relationship. Tom clearly found the question hilarious. “If Bill Belichick’s girlfriend needed it, would you rent a car for her,” Caleb asked Tom, referring to the fact that Jordon is too young to rent a car without paying a “young renter fee.”
Bill and Jordon reportedly started dating in early 2023, though they apparently met for the first time on a flight in February 2021. On February 11, 2025, Jordon seemed to confirm this when she posted on Instagram to celebrate their “Meetiversary.”
“Cheers to the fact that you still let me give you lengthy philosophical lectures four years later,” she captioned the post, which included a closeup of the ring that sparked the engagement rumors and the textbook Bill signed when he first met her in 2021.
Prior to dating Jordon, Bill dated his longtime girlfriend Linda Holliday for 16 years.
