Art takes time, patience, and a lot of dedication. It takes some form of talent as well, but it's safe to say that some would disagree on what level of talent some artists might have.
I don't have enough patience to even attempt certain branches of art. This one artist is so diligent with her craft, she uses just her lips to make a portrait. Now that is dedication!
Pixy Art created a stunning pixel art portrait of the late Michael Jackson. Pixel art is a newer art form, where the artist creates a grid, which they then fill in one by one. Each grid block will eventually look like a pixel, replicating a pixelated image from film or pictures.
The process is not quick. While the video below shows everything sped up, you can see that it takes a lot of time and attention to detail to get this piece of art just right. Imagine if she messed up just one pixel, the entire image would be off, and she is working in permanent marker! She'd have to restart the entire thing.
