Mom Expertly Re-creates Celebrity Red Carpet Looks On Her 5-Year-Old Using Only Household Items

It's amazing to see how fashion can inspire people. Just a quick scroll through Instagram will tell you just how many fans create art based on the looks they've seen on their favorite celebrities. Some even make designs or interpretations of the looks themselves. A little bit of creativity can make red carpet style accessible to anyone on a budget these days.

One clever mom proved just how true that is when she started using household items to re-create celeb red carpet fashion. Her 5-year-old daughter serves as an adorable model for the impressive creations.

According to Bored Panda, Alya Chaglar is an artist based in Turkey. Her Instagram has become a favorite among fashionistas. On her page, you'll find imaginative outfits crafted for her little girl, Stefani. Stefani loves wearing the beautiful clothes. They are crafted from materials found in their home. Everything from fruits to newspaper to flowers is fair game in bringing the looks to life. Stefani so loves working on these outfits with her mom that she wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up!

When celebrities wear new outfits, everyone wants to get their hands on the same clothing. Some items that top stars step out in sell out in just a few minutes!

Being able to re-create those looks on the cheap is a gift. Being able to re-create them out of only common household items makes it an art form.

The project started with taking photos that made household items appear to be outfits. Alya Chaglar, an artist, and her daughter, Stefani, work together to build creations for Stefani to model.

Their focus turned specifically to celebrity red carpet fashion when Alya saw Rihanna in one particular look. She told Bored Panda, "One day, I came across a photo of Rihanna in a blue Molly Goddard gown and decided to repeat her fashion look for my daughter, by using different materials on hand."

The popularity of the photo has resulted in #ahStefani. This hashtag is home to all of Alya and Stefani's celeb-inspired looks.

Although the looks seem intricate, they're quick to execute for the mother-daughter duo.

"It takes around 10-30 minutes to recreate a celebrity’s look," Alya explained. "We use nothing more than plastic, paper, tin foil and other materials you can find around the house, and a stapler to stick the pieces together."

The looks are immensely popular on Instagram, with some posts getting well over 20,000 likes. Alya and Stefani have over 200,000 followers to date.

They've taken inspiration from the looks seen on all sorts of celebrities for all sorts of occasions. A repeat favorite seems to be the ever-daring Lady Gaga.

Stefani's sweet smile definitely adds something special to the homemade looks. It's also cute to see her teetering in mom's high-heeled shoes!

The looks have had a profound impact on Stefani. While creating and modeling them is fun for the little girl, it's also made her interested in fashion.

According to Alya, Stefani wants to be a fashion designer when she grows up. With the talent in her genes, we don't doubt Stefani can achieve all that and more.

At just 5 years old, Stefani is already fluent in Russian, English, and Turkish, according to her mom. That impressive knowledge will go a long way in dominating fashion all around the world!

Fans of Alya and Stefani don't just love the stylish pictures they put together. They're calling for recognition for the looks from the celebrities they've modeled outfits after, the designers that make the originals, and, of course, Ellen DeGeneres, who is known for making viral kids into sensations.

With these awesome styles and Stefani's sweet commentary, this is surely just the beginning for Stefani and Alya. We can't wait to see what direction these designs take as Stefani continues to grow!
