Doesn’t every child want a pet? I’d say most do. I remember wanting a frog for the longest time when I was younger, but my mom was grossed out by them.
Eventually, her love for me beat her dislike for them and I got a tadpole. Or maybe it was just because I said I’d catch a frog in the creek and bring it home as a pet if she wouldn’t get me one from a store, and she was scared I’d get warts.
My excitement was through the roof, and I watched that tadpole grow every morning and every night.
My experience was very similar to this little girl, who searches the web every single night before bed to try and find a pet she can adopt from a shelter, hoping that her parents will eventually see what she sees in their little eyes.
Her parents finally decided to surprise her with a pet she’s been dreaming of.
What pet, you ask? I’ll let you have a surprise as big as she did when it scurried around the corner to her. Her reaction is something you’d never want to miss. This is priceless!
