In 2016, proposals have gotten flashier than ever. You can't go on social media without seeing a flash mob or an elaborate proposal video.
There used to be a time when it was as easy as one person getting down on one knee and asking the other to marry them. It's simple and maybe it's not big enough for some people, but for others it is all a couple needs.
One man decided that while getting down on one knee was how he wanted to do it, he had a better idea on the "where and when" aspect: while attending a Coldplay concert at Wembley Stadium in London, with 90,000 other people. When the band begins to play their hit song "Fix You," he gets on one knee and pops the question! His girlfriend is overjoyed! Clearly he knew exactly what he was doing when he picked the venue.
Coldplay is a great band for these emotional moments. Remember when this little boy with autism saw Coldplay with his father? It was the cutest moment.
All of the people around the newly engaged couple are cheering and singing along as they watch the proposal. As more people around them notice what has happened, people start joining in the cheer. It's wonderful!
