The tradition turned into a multimillion-dollar business for Grillo over the course of a decade. The Grillo's Pickles brand is now sold in grocery stores around the country.

Grillo's even has a beer collaboration! The company teamed up with Down the Road Brewery to create Sam-Sam the Pickle Man, a spicy dill-pickle sour beer brewed with Grillo's Pickles.

Instead, Grillo's is offering instructions on how to make your own pickle bouquet. All you have to do is head over to your local supermarket and grab your favorite variety of Grillo's, some wooden skewers, and a few items for garnish.

Grillo's own creation shows cloves of garlic and peppers. The company is encouraging fans to get creative in a big way.

Travis explained the idea behind the edible DIY masterpieces: "We’ve always had fun involving pickles around all types of holidays and we felt pickles needed a little more love during Valentine’s Day. We know there are a lot of pickle lovers out there that would love nothing more than to get a Valentine’s Day gift loaded with their favorite snack."

Aside from being a sour and salty surprise, there are benefits, too. "Not only is a pickle bouquet more beautiful than a dozen red roses, and healthier than a standard box of chocolate, it’s also far more creative."
