Everyone has a favorite celebrity, whether you care for them or not. The celebrity — who can be an actor, a singer, maybe even a model — usually varies from person to person, and almost certainly from generation to generation.
But, how unlikely would it be to find a grandmother and a granddaughter totally lose it over the same celebrity?
Well, meet Emily and her nana, Betty Ann. They both love Paul McCartney, and couldn't pass up the opportunity to see him live in concert on a tour stop in Cincinnati. It was also the lucky teen's birthday, and she really wanted a car.
So her grandma made her a promise: if McCartney signed her cast (she had broken her arm decorating Emily's Sweet 16 party), she would buy her a car. So the two made signs, hoping to catch the superstar's attention.
It was a huge surprise when, at the end of the concert, Betty Ann locked eyes with McCartney, who didn't hesitate to bring the duo onstage — just as they had hoped!
He kindly obliged, and signed Betty Ann's cast, much to her granddaughter's glee. How amazing is that?!
What an incredible birthday surprise for this teen, and an unbelievable opportunity for a lifelong fan.
Please SHARE if you envy these two for meeting one of the most talented and gifted musicians of the century!
