I would have never regarded a raccoon as cute, much less as a friendly roommate, before watching this video. I usually think of their little black-masked faces as rummaging through trash cans late at night! However, watching this owner and his wild friend interact made me a firm believer in the different relationships that can exist between humans and animals.
This cute raccoon is as playful as a puppy, and it’s truly adorable to witness.
In fact, the loving bond that this adorable raccoon and his owner share really appears to be no different than the one humans share with more traditional house pets — a loving bond that’s reminiscent of the one that this rescuer and her wild friend share.
You can tell that they have a mutual understanding between one another, one that includes a very interesting type of playtime.
This form of playing includes this raccoon running on the couch, sprinting into the air, and landing rather abruptly on his owner’s belly. I was surprised to see how much fun they were having and even felt a bit envious, to be honest.
It sure is different, but definitely entertaining, seeing as this coon repeats the same motions over and over again.
It’s ridiculously cute how excited this raccoon gets just by playing with his owner, and when playtime ends in a good ole belly rub, I don’t blame him one bit.
