When I think of the inside of a school bus, I'm immediately transported back to the second grade where I sat among chattering peers as we whizzed on our way to class.
While riding on a school bus was the cool thing to do in grade school, it wasn't necessarily comfortable or homey in there — and I couldn't imagine sleeping in one.
But thanks to so many creative carpenters out there, buses have been transformed in some seriously spectacular ways. Buses can be made into cool traveling studios and even stylish dream homes.
But one couple went above and beyond to create a cool space out of a school bus that would allow them to travel while being completely comfortable.
It includes some pretty amazing amenities including a full wood stove that can warm the space up during the winter!
Check below to see photos of the incredible, yet unassuming, school bus below.

From the outside, it's easy to mistake this vehicle as just a dusty old school bus.
But as it turns out, this outdated bus is hiding the most stunning interior!

Within the deceptively small bus is an all-wood space with a full kitchen, wood stove, and even roof deck!

The couple that transformed the amazing vehicle have used it as an office, a studio, and have even successfully traveled around in it.
With its many corners and cabinets, there's plenty of space for clothes, personal items, and knickknacks.

From the inside, it's difficult to even tell that it once used to be a bus!
Their cute conversion of the space even includes a little office area, complete with a computer and swivel chair.

It's also completely insulated, and the wood stove keeps it completely toasty in the cold.
It has safely traveled to Colorado and New Mexico, as well as California, Oregon, and Washington, without any aspects of the interior being compromised.

Its wood detailing also gives it more of a quaint cabin feeling, rather than a moving vehicle.
It could be used as a cool alternative form of living, similar to a tepee or tent, while still keeping you warm and safe in the elements.

Though it has long since been sold to another couple to travel around in, the space still serves as a great inspiration for what can be done with an old vehicle that's in need of some remodeling.
For those who love to travel, but don't want to deal with accommodations along the way, revamped buses and vans make great spaces that can also serve as modes of transportation.
