Cancer is a scary word, but some people take it on full speed ahead. And hopefully, those people become survivors.
Survivors give people hope and give payback to cancer, saying "you could not beat me" in a sense.
But, surviving cancer isn't always in the cards for people, and it's heartbreaking to know that some people will never come out of chemotherapy treatments.
When you find out a baby is going through them, even if she or he does come out from them, it will break your heart knowing all that their little body has to deal with.
The baby you're about to meet is the bright eyed, curly haired, Jordan.
Her parents, Tammy and Stephen, had to go through a struggle to find out what was wrong with their baby girl, and once they did, the unthinkable happened.
Their tiny daughter, only four months old, was diagnosed with cancer and had to go through chemotherapy. And although this video shows her running around happy and healthy, this beautiful little girl continued to battle cancer after filming.
Leukemia came back, and now chemotherapy is their hope to get her into remission while she waits for a bone marrow transplant at The Hospital for Sick Children.
"We have a very long hard road ahead of us, but we are not done fighting," Tammy says.
The realities of babies and cancer is heartbreaking, but you should always be aware of them because you never know which little medical issue could actually be something much bigger. Jordan started with bruises on her abdomen that turned into a hospital visit that changed their lives.
Tammy says it perfectly: "Babies shouldn't get cancer, but they do."
