2 Baby Stingrays Put On A Show And Move Their Claspers In An Unforgettable Way

If you've ever been to the zoo or the aquarium — and we're sure you have at least once — then you've most likely seen some pretty amazing and strange-looking animals. Even the ones you think you know can surprise you!

Take the stingray for example. We've seen many videos and clips of them in the wild, or even of them giving birth, like when this fisherman helped a mother stingray during the process. But you've probably never seen stingrays like this before…

First of all, I had no idea the bellies of the young ones are pale and translucent. I am so used to seeing the white-gray color you always see on the adults! It's almost an eerie sight.

And when the creature faces upward, his anatomy gives him a near-humanoid form. You can see two "eyes," "arms," a "mouth," and even two "legs!"

It's the legs that are perplexing. As it turns out, these appendages are called claspers, and they allow males to mate with females.

In this clip, they move up and down in such a way that we can't help but burst out in laughter. It truly looks like this baby stingray is dancing for the camera!

But watch when his friend makes an entrance and floats by. His timing is perfect — and as always, two is better than one!
