Kids are undeniably the most wonderful beings in the world. It's always heartwarming to hear about the ones with a heart of gold and brains beyond their years.
Tyler is a 10-year-old boy who is embodies all of that, while saving his family's life, too.
He reminded me of this other 10-year-old boy who saved his brothers life from carbon monoxide poisoning, much to everyone's surprise. We clearly should never underestimate these intelligent young minds.
While his mom was driving him and his little brother, she started to have a seizure. Being only 10 years old, I would imagine that he was in complete confusion, and fearful of what was going on.
But to my surprise, he acted without hesitation. Tyler immediately put the car in park and called 911.
When you hear his voice on the 911 phone call, the panic and fear might sound apparent, but his actions prove that he put that aside in the moment. He is a very smart little boy.
What he did saved his family's life. And possibly even others on the road.
In this interview, you can tell how proud his parents are, and how lucky they feel that the seizure didn't prompt something much worse for them.
Without Tyler, who knows what would have happened? His mom calls him "her little hero," and I definitely agree with that new title!
