Young Single Mom Is Homeless After Her Mother Dies, Then An Officer Helps Her

The opportunity to get a higher education is a privilege not everyone has. In fact, many people forgo schooling for other endeavors, like joining the military, or working in the family business.

Others, like Alante Williams, simply do not have the resources for such an investment.

Alante wasn't going to attend college. It took her high school principal, biology teacher, and resource officer to encourage her to finish high school. Alante is also a single mother to two young daughters, a 2-year-old and an 8-month-old, and was occupied with her home life.

Then, her mother passed away. Alante was going to find herself out on the street if it hadn't been for a miracle.

Officer Vivian Williams gave the young woman and her family perhaps the most meaningful gift of their lives: She welcomed them into her home, giving the young, single mother the chance to get to her first day of college classes.

Vivian is convinced that God led her to open her heart in such an extreme way!

We know that, thanks to this Chicago cop, a family has the chance to live a better life. This is a priceless gift Alante and her children are sure to remember for the rest of their lives.

Please SHARE if you think Officer Williams' kindness is something you only see once in a lifetime, and to wish Alante the best of luck for the new school year!
