I think the car seat idea is brilliant. This is also a brilliant way to see if someone else has used your car without your knowledge. Simply place one inconspicuous strip of duct tape that reaches down from the side of the seat. If you go to drive and the tape has been broken, there’s a chance someone else adjusted the seat.
