What to Know
Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sánchez haven’t even been married for a year yet, and people are already predicting that they might get divorced soon. In June 2025, the couple had a lavish, high-profile wedding celebration that lots of celebrities attended (and many other people criticized for being excessive and over-the-top). Their relationship became known to the public in 2019, and they were engaged for about two years before tying the knot.
Now, though, sources claim that things aren’t looking great for them at this point.
Their body language has raised concerns.

Sources who spoke to Rob Shuter pointed to a viral moment from the Vanity Fair Oscar Party. At one point, the way that Lauren looked at Jeff was very telling. One insider told Rob, “That look wasn’t nothing. There’s tension there.” Yikes.
After the Vanity Fair Oscar Party, Vanity Fair shared a clip that showed Lauren shooing Jeff away. While it could be perceived as cold, awkward, or even detached, some people on X speculated that Lauren just didn’t want her husband interfering with her time in front of the camera.
However, insiders claim there are other reasons to be suspicious.

The rumors are deeper than the awkward Oscar party moment. The insider told Rob that Jeff and Lauren have been dealing with tension like this for a while now. “Everything changed the moment they got married,” they claimed. “The honeymoon phase is over.”
And if that’s true, it might be a phase that they move on from. But another insider said that they don’t see their marriage lasting. “People close to them are giving this marriage a year — max,” the source claimed.
Apparently, now that all the hype and attention from their wedding wore off, what they’re left with is far less…interesting? “Before, it was all excitement and attention,” Rob’s source said. “Now it’s real life — and it’s not as perfect.”
Lauren recently said their wedding was “really incredible.”

At the same time, the special moment she focused on during an interview with Extra was less about Jeff and more about their other loved ones. “It was really incredible being there with, you know, all of our kids, our family, our best friends, and we danced all night,” she said. “It was really, really fun.”
She recalled how all of their children gave “meaningful” speeches, and her daughter, Ella, 18, said something that made her cry. “My daughter gave a speech during the ceremony, this was before we said our vows, and [I] started bawling,” Lauren said. “Like, I could not- I’m like, ‘Oh, my gosh’ right before the pictures.”
She added, “And so all of our kids gave these speeches and they were all extremely emotional and loving and I think they made the wedding what it was.”
Jeff and Lauren both have kids from previous relationships. Lauren shares Ella and son Evan, 19, with ex-husband Patrick Whitesell and shares son Nikko, 25, with her ex-boyfriend Tony Gonzalez. Jeff shares four children with his ex-wife, MacKenzie Scott, but they have tried to keep their children out of the public eye.
