It's hard to believe that we're quickly approaching the 14th year anniversary of the worst terrorist attacks in our nation's history.
Like many people my age, I grew up believing I would never know a world of such hate, war and greed. Nearly a decade and a half later, however, it feels hard to remember life in our country in any other way. Although many things have changed in our post 9/11 world, the wounds of the attacks still remain and I still hurt every time I think about all the lives who were lost and ruined.
For me, it's personally important to take time every September 11th to remember everyone who was affected on that tragic Tuesday morning. When I came across the following video from the United States Naval Academy's contemporary a capella group called The Anchormen, I knew I had to take a moment to share it with the LittleThings community, so we can all pause for a moment from our busy lives and remember what happened on 9/11/01.
The sailors created this powerful and moving video on the 10th anniversary of the attacks, as a tribute to those who gave their lives that fateful day, as well as the brave men and women still fighting to protect our great nation today. It features an a capella performance of The Eagles' song "Hole in the World".
On YouTube, they wrote "We hope to remind everyone, that we as a nation have never forgotten you, and we will continue to fight to protect the liberties we as Americans cherish."
Please help remember those affected and spread love through this SHARE this touching video with everyone in your life
