Watch This Man Stun The Crowd With A Hawaiian Hula Dance

When you think of the word "Hula" your mind probably immediately goes to the swaying motion that comes with the brightly colored Hula Hoop child's toy. If you're not thinking of the toy, then the idea of a hula dancing Hawaiian girl most likely is the first thing that comes to mind.

The charming music, the gentle smile of the dancer, the famous grass skirt. We've always considered Hula dancing as something that is decidedly feminine and about as special as the little plastic hula dolls you see on the dashboards of some cars.

But it turns out that the famous hula dance is much more than a performance; it is many things wrapped up into one. It's religious, passionate, an art form that takes years to master, and an important part of Hawaiian culture.

And it turns out that it's not even something that's just for women; the sacred art of hula is just as important for men as well! It turns out that in the mid-seventies, Hawaii has been undergoing a bit of a Renaissance that has been instrumental in reviving the importance of the male as well as the female.

In the video below you can watch an incredible performance of the Kahiko hula; the men below have perfected their muscle strength so much that they can truly do some pretty incredible moves. Their ability to pick themselves up with just one arm, all while being able to shoot their feet from one side of their body to the other, all while staying in perfect unison with each other is breathtaking to watch!

Please SHARE this fantastic video if you think these gentlemen have some real body control!
