Rich Influencer Slammed For Subtly Boasting About The Luxurious Homes She Passed Up

A wealthy influencer recently took to TikTok to show off all the luxury homes that she definitely could’ve purchased, but chose not to because they weren’t good enough for her. And as many people struggle to afford the essentials, the personal update is definitely not the most relatable thing on the internet. As the influencer, Becca Bloom, boasted about the problems she had with each mansion, people in the comments joked about how they’ve actually had the exact same problem before (meaning they absolutely have never had an even remotely similar experience in their lives). Understandably, some urged Becca to read the room because, hello, people can’t even afford to rent an apartment or buy groceries.

Becca explained why she decided against each home.

The first image Becca shared in her video was of a huge house with a swimming pool and enough rooms for numerous people. But alas, it didn’t quite meet Becca’s standards. She explained that it’s located very close to where her parents live, which is a plus. Unfortunately, though, she and her family did not want to “drive up a scary, windy hill at night.” Fair enough. However, as the video continued and Becca shared the reasons why she didn’t buy these houses, it became even less relatable.

She shared a photo of another luxury home and said she loved it, but it was simply too far from the school districts her family is interested in and also too far away from her parents. To be fair, these are factors that lots of people might consider when choosing a home, except most people obviously don’t have the privilege of being so picky about literal mansions.

Becca also decided against one of the mansions because of a fortune teller’s advice. She showed off several other mansions that she didn’t buy and her reasons for not purchasing them seem pretty…minor. Overall, the video definitely seems like a perfect example of rich people problems.

At the same time, would you expect anything different from the influencer known as the queen of RichTok?

Given what Becca Bloom is known for, the video is not the most shocking thing in the world. But because it’s so far from the reality most people are living in, it was still difficult for people to wrap their heads around it. Jokingly, someone in the comments shared a photo of a luxury home and wrote, “I was gonna buy this but there were only 2 pools.”

Someone else wrote, “That’s crazy! I too almost bought these houses, I was about to sign the contract but then I woke up.” Another person joked, “My fortune teller also told me not to buy a castle so basically samesies.”

And as a fourth person said sarcastically, we’re basically all dealing with the same problems. “Same girl, it’s just I didn’t have money to eat this week so I bought 4 packs of pasta with butter,” they wrote.
