A military homecoming is always a big deal, especially when you've been away for multiple tours as Sgt. Anthony Vance has. But when this soldier came home to see his loving girlfriend, Misty, he had a pretty big surprise in mind… and he'd need the help of twenty-two of his fellow passengers to pull it off.
Even though this is definitely the first airport proposal I've ever seen, but we've actually witnessed a few proposals that have taken place all the way up in the sky! Just check out the amazing way this man asked his girlfriend to marry him while they were mid-flight — it's definitely something that neither she nor anyone on that plane will ever forget.
Sgt. Vance had an even bigger challenge, though. He had to enlist 22 of his fellow passengers to give out roses to his very surprised girlfriend after they got off the plane. But just like this soldier who was assisted by his entire platoon when he proposed, it seems as though Sgt. Vance had no trouble at all finding a bunch of willing participants to help pull off his big moment.
Judging by the look on Misty's face when her soulmate came down the escalator to present her with that final rose, Sgt. Vance's plan went exactly the way he hoped it would. Even though being a military family is no easy task, it's perfectly clear that these two have a love that will carry them through all of life's greatest challenges.
