Back in 1977 during a hilarious episode of the Dean Martin celebrity roast, one of our favorite singers was receiving the usual jokes about him in stride, all while managing to keep a friendly grin on his face.
While we all love Frank Sinatra's famous crooning talents, one of our favorite moments of his comes when our favorite blue collar man asks the millionaire this hilarious question! Standing in his famous and shabby trenchcoat, with his trusty cigar in hand, this down to earth detective asked none other than Sinatra if they could sing together!
There's just something about Peter Falk's portrayal of Columbo that makes his famous television show so popular. He's so approachable, definitely the kind of guy you'd love to share a beer with, but at the end of the day Columbo is one of the smartest guys in the LAPD. He's able to solve impossible crimes and take down millionaires on a weekly basis. This guy represents everything that Americans love the most!
But after watching him perform with Sinatra, we're glad he didn't ask him, "Just one more thing…" It's a shame that Columbo never had an episode with Sinatra as the bad guy — that'd be worth watching! It's also neat because this is Peter Falk's only appearance as Columbo outside of the show.
Our favorite moment was when we finally found out what Mrs. Columbo's name is, and what a beautiful name it is!
