Elephants aren't just some of the biggest animals on our planet, they're easily some of the most fascinating, too.
These gentle giants have a lot more in common with us humans than most people think. Since elephants have the biggest brains of any other land mammal, they're also some of the most intelligent. Elephants enjoy music, they have problem-solving skills, and they can use tools to get tasks done. They're also great communicators, with their own species and with humans.
However, in my opinion, what really makes these fascinating creatures similar to humans is their compassion. As you can see in this amazing video, elephants value family, show empathy and are very protective of their loved ones…even the human ones! In the following clip, we see another incredible example of how elephants are some of the most loyal and thoughtful animals out there.
As people look on recording a baby elephant in the following clip, you can see the little guy have some trouble getting around on his big feet and take a tumble. From far away, it looks like the baby might have collapsed on the ground and need help. That's when the elephant's mother and father do something incredible.
