As the weather gets colder, we're left reminiscing about the dog days of summer. Shorts, ice cream, warm weather, oh my! Is it too soon to look forward to next summer?
Well, summer doesn't have to completely leave us during the winter months. You can brighten up those short, dreary days with something as simple as a cute, colorful nail polish design!
Would it be too cheesy to say that every time you looked down at your nails, you'd be reminded of sunnier days?
We already love this nail trend that made us want to sit at the beach, and this fabulous nail hack that made pretty, flowery designs so easy to do. And now we have another to add to our repertoire!
The key is using bright, neon pink, blue, and yellow nail polish.
But the secret to this nail design is in the sponge!
All you need to do is to create two strips of color on the sponge, slightly overlapping. The two nail polish colors blended together will create a third color that will be visible on your nails!
Dab the sponge onto your nail. The color will get on the tips of your fingers, but you can easily clean them with a Q-tip dipped in nail polish remover.
Repeat the process a couple of times before applying a top coat. Before you know it, you'll have colorful, ombré nails that all your friends will be jealous of!
