As the world eagerly awaits the Dec. 18th premiere of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, one superfan fears he doesn't have enough time left to wait.
Meet Daniel Fleetwood, 32, who is currently battling a rare form of cancer called spindle cell carcinoma. Although he continues his brave fight, he was told in September that he only had a few months left to live.
Fleetwood, who has been checking off his bucket list item after item, has one last thing he needs to do. He needs to see Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Luckily, Fleetwood has an amazing support team, led by his college sweetheart and wife of five years, Ashley
Ashley and Daniel recently started a Twitter campaign using the hashtag #ForceForDaniel, in hopes that someone involved with the movie will get wind and let Daniel see it early.
The Knights of Ren have all unanimously agreed with #ForceForDaniel

As a Star Wars fan I support Daniel’s wish. RT so we can make it happen! @Disney @starwars #ForceForDaniel

Thankfully, Daniel's story has caught the attention of some well connected people. Presidential hopeful Rand Paul, along with Star Wars stars Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) and John Boyega (Finn), have also showed their support on Twitter.
As long as Star Wars execs see Daniel's plea, there's no way they could say no. Participate in the hashtag by tweeting your own message, adding #ForceForDaniel on Twitter.
