Ex Ohio Cop Wears ‘DILF’ Shirt As He Pleads Guilty To Child Sexual Images Charges

In the eyes of society, police are held to a higher standard when it comes to the law. This is why it’s so shocking when a current or past law enforcement officer is charged with a crime. But recently, an ex Ohio cop pleaded guilty to child sexual images charges — while shockingly wearing a “DILF” shirt in court.

Geoffrey Parker, 34, of Mineral Ridge, Ohio, is a former Akron police officer. In October 2024, he entered guilty pleas for a slew of charges related to a child sex abuse case. But if that wasn’t disturbing enough, his courtroom attire was highly inappropriate considering his crimes.

On October 31, Parker pleaded guilty in Trumbull County Common Pleas Court to multiple charges related to a child sex abuse case, according to a news release from the Trumbull County Prosecutor’s Office.

They included three counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor, three counts of illegal use of a minor in nudity-oriented material, one count of gross sexual imposition, and one count of pandering obscenity involving a minor. The release noted Parker was a former Akron police officer.

During his October 31 court appearance, Parker wore a T-shirt that likely caused others to do a double-take. The shirt read “DILF – Devoted, Involved, Loving Father.” But as many likely know, an alternate meaning for “DILF” is a sexual innuendo about fathers. Parker also resigned from his job as an Akron police officer on the same day, after previously being on unpaid leave, WKYC reported.

The case began when the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation traced a nude image of a 4-year-old girl to Parker, according to the Trumbull County Prosecutor’s Office. Investigators tied Parker’s conversations “to an online chatroom app.”

According to a complaint, per NBC4i, he was also accused of sharing “sexually explicit videos with minors engaging in sex acts and photographing a child in a state of nudity and then sharing the picture online to receive other explicit images of children.”

After he was arrested, the Akron police chief released a statement.

Following Parker’s August 16 arrest, Akron Police Chief Brian Harding issued a statement.

“I am sickened to learn of these charges against one of our employees,” Harding said, per FOX 8. “I thank the Bureau of Criminal Investigation for handling this case and trust that the judicial and legal process will reveal the truth. Anyone engaging in this behavior should be held accountable for their actions to the fullest extent possible by law. I’m confident that justice will be served.”

Parker is being held at Trumbull County jail on a $1 million bond, according to the prosecutor’s office news release. His sentencing hearing is on November 26.

Following his prison release, Parker will be required to declare himself as a Tier 2 sexual offender. This means he will have to “register with a local sheriff’s office twice per year for the next 25 years,” per the news release.
