Josh Groban has always been known as a patriotic American, but when you see him say this in front of a huge crowd of wounded soldiers? You'll easily agree that this popular singer is a cut above the rest of them!
The video begins simply enough, Groban had always wanted to perform for the servicemen and servicewomen at our nation's capital, but he had never been given the opportunity until now.
Even though Josh was in the middle of a very hectic touring schedule all around the country, he managed to drop everything else he was doing in order to rush to Washington, D.C. in honor of our nation's troops.
And instead of singing one of his dozens of instant hits, he actually took a chance and wrote a completely new song in honor of all the soldiers who have sacrificed so much. With only a little bit of rehearsal, Josh managed to stun the entire audience and left thousands in tears.
When the choir joins in at 3:35, it's honestly a gorgeous moment that everyone in the stands will cherish for a very long time.
Groban really showed his true colors in this video; not only was he incredibly humble, but he showed that his heart is red, white and blue!
