When I was a little kid, I was even more uncoordinated than I am now. Before those fine motor skills kicked in, there was no way you could get me to do a dance any more complicated than "I'm A Little Tea Pot," let alone step in front of a huge audience to perform it!
That being said, I am so impressed by any little one that takes dance classes and performs in front of an audience. To learn a whole dance, no matter how simple it is, is really no small feat! Sure, sitting through an entire recital of adorable toddlers in teeny ballet slippers and tutus isn't my first choice for a Sunday afternoon… but that doesn't mean it isn't adorably impressive.
Some young ones, though, are simply born with immense talent. When they walk on stage, there is no looking away. Whether it's from pure shock that someone so young and so small is capable of controlling their body like that or pure amazement at their undeniable skill and grace, these performances never fail to delight!
In this video, a (very) young hoofer steps on stage with a man at least twice his height, presumably his teacher. The older (yet still young) man claps his hands, and they're off!
