Baby elephants are easily one of the cutest animals in existence on our planet. Baby animals are all pretty cute, but there's just something about their big ears, their little trunks, and their floppy feet that makes even the most serious people's hearts melt like butter.
So when one little baby elephant realized for the very first time in her life that she was an elephant, her reaction is about as cute as you can get!
While some people think this baby has an itchy nose, and some people think she has an itchy foot one thing is absolutely certain: This one-week-old baby elephant is just too cute!
This baby and his mother are well looked after and given all the food they need. Based in Thailand, these rescue elephants are kept safe to roam in a huge forest while being protected from potential poachers. To ensure this species future survival, humans can come to watch the elephants in their natural habitat at the Chai Lai Orchid Eco-Lodge.
Thank goodness for the amazing people who look after the beautiful creatures while educating the public of their importance to the environment. This baby, while a bit confused as to what her trunk is, will grow up to be a huge, beautiful, and confident elephant in the upcoming years.
