Mechanic Who Started ‘Wheels For Widows’ Gets A Big Surprise

Kim Miracle noticed something about a man named Robert Long in her Georgia community. Robert, who has been a mechanic all his life, was always going around the neighborhood to people's houses. The women he would target were single moms and widows.

"Robert Long is one of the most selfless people I've ever met," Kim told WTVC. "He's always worked on cars. I mean, that's been one of his things. So, he decided to take that to people who really needed it. You know, single moms, widows, they often will have car trouble and they can't afford to get their car fixed."

Robert started a ministry called "Wheels for Widows," where he and volunteers provide women struggling to make ends meet by fixing up their cars and doing home repairs for free. Kim wanted to pay it forward to the man who helped so many women in the community for seemingly no good reason. Watch as Kim stuns him with $500 in cash!

"You usually ignore the maintenance on your car, things like that, because that's the thing, when it comes to the end of the month, that's what you've got to cut," Robert says. "You just make time to help somebody because ultimately that's what makes the world a better place."

Sometimes heroes wear capes, sometimes they live right there in your neighborhood armed with nothing but a screwdriver and a wrench.
