‘Designer Nipples’ Are The Trendiest New Cosmetic Procedure For Women & It’s Wild

Beauty standards come and go and vary depending on the culture. In many countries around the world, a fuller figured woman is the preferred body type. In the early 2000s, American women wore their eyebrows thin with a slightly exaggerated arch. Today, the fashion is for thick brows.

Now, there’s a new trend that has people running to the doctor’s office. It’s not about snatching or pulling. Instead it’s about exaggerating … the point of your nipples.

Women are running to doctors in search of designer nipples, the New York Post reports. The cosmetic procedure has become more popular in line with sheer blouses and bra-free looks. Of course, the desire for these new nipples is quite simple for some.

“I thought it was sexy,” 30-year-old Annabelle Durrey said. Durrey saw how women’s bodies looked in the T-shirts in the summer. But she also realized that she never had that. But there was a way to fix that.

Durrey scheduled a consultation with plastic surgeon Dr. Norman Rowe. The minimally invasive procedure involves the use of filler, or injecting hyaluronic acid into the nipple to enhance projection. The injections include 1 cc of dermal filler for each nipple. The procedure cost around $5,000.

The demand for these procedures is on the rise. Dr. Anna Avaliani, who has been performing nipple augmentations since 2018, says that she receives at least one client a month requesting the procedure. There are even women who travel from out of state to have it done.

She attributed the procedure’s popularity to women like Kylie Jenner, Lauren Sanchez, and Kim Kardashian, who have inspired women and even some men to go for the “hard- and excited-looking nipples.” For other women, the desire for perky nipples comes from wanting to reverse changes after giving birth, breastfeeding, or breast augmentations.

One patient, 38-year-old Kathleen Reyes, said she opted for designer nipples because she was tired of wearing wired bras. She wanted to feel more comfortable without the additional garments. After having the filler, she says the it has helped her feel more free.

These women are so happy with their choices, they are recommending it to their friends. “It was definitely worth it, 100%,” she said.
