Robin Williams Was An Actor And Humanitarian…AND A Devoted Rescue Dog Lover!

Robin Williams wasn't just a talented actor and devoted father, he was also a true dog lover. Our hearts go out to pug, Leonard, who lost his human, the wonderful Robin Williams. Leonard was no fancy-pants breeder dog. In fact, Robin scooped him up from a scrappy rescue in New York City called Curly Tail Pug Rescue. Unfortunately, one less dog lover is in the world tonight. Rest In Peace, Robin Williams. Dogs are not our whole life, but they make our lives whole – Roger Caras

Leonard was a real rags to riches story!

The caption Robin Williams added to this photo read: "My buddy had a bad reaction to his meds. Relaxing now getting acupuncture." Only a truly loving dog parent would do such a thing.

"@ellenshow Leonard and his pals, Willie B, and Lou Ella really enjoyed your gift. A little too much!" Williams shouted out to Ellen Degeneres, fellow animal lover, in this post.

His assistant's dog, Verna, also saw her share of the limelight!

When Williams' character enters heaven, he's reunited with his deceased dog, and they're both young again.

We hope that part of the script came true for you, Robin.
