Bumper stickers. Love 'em or hate 'em, you can't help but read them – especially when you're stuck in traffic. Ranging from humorous to religious, bumper stickers make a statement about who, exactly, is riding inside your vehicle.
The first bumper stickers appeared shortly before WWII and expressed patriotism. Today, bumper stickers are way less "classy."
