Andrew Scholz is one lucky kid. When the 18-year-old took the stage to audition for "The X Factor," he didn't exactly impress the judges with his rendition of Alex Clare's "Too Close." They thought he sounded like a karaoke singer and were ready to write off the South Carolina native. But after a little deliberation, the four judges decided to give him a second chance.
They asked him to sing another song — and he didn't disappoint. He earned four yeses with his performance of Little Big Town's "A Little More You."
Scholz wowed the judges and the audience with his smooth, country crooning. His country twang changed everything! This guy is going to go far. It's definitely not the last you'll see of him!
