Brooklyn Beckham, the 21-year-old son of David and Victoria Beckham, is engaged to his girlfriend, Nicola Peltz. His parents have shared that they are thrilled with the news.
Victoria shared Brooklyn's update on her Instagram account, writing: "The MOST exciting news!! We could not be happier that @brooklynbeckham and @nicolaannepeltz are getting married! Wishing you so much love and a lifetime of happiness. We all love you both so much x @davidbeckham @romeobeckham @cruzbeckham #HarperSeven."
Brooklyn and Nicola revealed that they were in a relationship in January 2020, and they announced their engagement this weekend.
Brooklyn said, "Two weeks ago I asked my soulmate to marry me and she said yes. I am the luckiest man in the world. I promise to be the best husband and the best daddy one day. I love you baby xx."
Nicola also posted to her own Instagram account to gush about the news: "You've made me the luckiest girl in the world. I can't wait to spend the rest of my life by your side. your love is the most precious gift. I love you so so much baby."
Brooklyn was born in March 1999 and has grown up under pretty intense media scrutiny. His parents are both ultra-famous, and Brooklyn has tried to distinguish himself from their own successful careers.
