Mother cow Lindy Lou had all of her babies stolen from her at the dairy farm. This is the reality for many farm cows who are artificially inseminated so they keep producing milk to sell. She mourned for days waiting for her babies to return. They never did. When she was finally rescued and taken to the Manning River Farm Animal Sanctuary, she had the opportunity to have real a mother / child relationship when she met a baby calf.
Baby Carlin was taken from his mother and was deemed useless to the dairy industry. He was thankfully brought to the animal sanctuary. When he and Lindy Lou finally met, it was all captured on camera — and it's such a beautiful and touching moment.
"We hope with all our hearts they both have a long life together here at Manning River FAS. Enjoy the love," the farm posted on their Facebook page.
The mother and her adopted baby are now living a happy life together, with Lindy Lou always close by supervising to make sure her little boy is okay.
