Luke Bryan Makes INCREDIBLE Gesture After A Terrible Family Tragedy. I’m Tearing Up!

Following a recent family tragedy, Luke Bryan and his wife Caroline have opened up their doors to the singer’s 13-year-old nephew Til.

Bryan, one of country music’s biggest stars, lost his brother-in-law Ben Lee Cheshire in November, eight years after his sister Kelly passed away.

Ben and Kelly left behind three children, including Til, the new addition to Bryan’s Nashville home. Til’s older sisters also come to visit regularly.

Although Bryan told ABC News that the situation is “tough,” he said he hopes to inspire others to carry on during difficult times.

"We feel like if we just stay positive through this, maybe we'll be a positive inspiration for people that had these things happen to 'em," said Bryan, who has two sons of his own with his wife. "You just have to plow on and play the hand that's dealt."

When Bryan was 19, he also lost his 26-year-old brother, Chris, in a car accident. The multi-platinum singer mourned the deaths of both his siblings with his 2013 tune “Drink A Beer,” which includes the lyrics, “Funny how the good ones go too soon, but the good Lord knows the reasons why.”

Fellow country stars Lady Antebellum and Chris Stapleton performed the melancholy song at CMT’s Artists of the Year event in December to tribute Bryan after his brother-in-law’s death.

"That night we were, as a family, watching all of that on TV and watching Lady A and Stapleton sing that," Bryan said. "It was a big-time healing moment."
