There are lots of great ways to cook bacon. A skillet and bacon press will cook it nice and evenly. A baking sheet in the oven will cut down on clean-up time. The barrel of an M16 will cook it with only 90 rounds.
Wait, what?
Dustin Ellerman is not your typical husband and father — and, as you're about to see in this shocking video, he's not your typical cook, either!
A master marksman and grand prize winner on the show Top Shot, Dustin definitely knows his way around a rifle. So, after years of carefully handling guns, it's only natural that this expert would finally combine every man's two great loves: meat and weapons.
With just a few strips of bacon, a sheet of aluminum foil, and one of the best assault rifles in the world, Dustin shows us how to cook bacon way outside of the box.
And even though I probably don't need to tell you responsible bacon lovers this, I should disclaim that we don't recommend you try this at home. Dustin is a professional. Besides, this method doesn't seem very cost-efficient. According to one YouTube commenter's estimation, considering the price of ammo, it probably cost Dustin around $25 to cook one strip of bacon!
Still, it's pretty incredible to watch!
What do you think? Would you try bacon fresh off the barrel of an M16?
