To be honest, after I dyed my Easter eggs using these ingredients, I made a vow that I'd never do it the old way ever again! There are many ways to dye your Easter eggs, but this version is all natural and super safe!
Using some ingenious combinations of food and spices, you can really make any color in the rainbow, and when you start eating your hard-boiled easter eggs after the party, you won't have to worry because everything is all natural!
So, while you're busy making your extra-large Easter Peeps cake, you can make some beautifully dyed eggs in the meantime!
Here’s all you’ll need:
- Fruit or vegetable (depending on the color you choose)
- 2 Tbsp vinegar
- 1 Tbsp salt
- Pantyhose
Once you’ve selected your fruit or vegetable, cover it in two quarts of cold water, add your salt and vinegar, and then boil for 30 minutes. Once it’s done, strain and let cool: That’s it! You’re ready to dye your eggs!
Place your egg in the dye and wait. For best results, leave your egg submerged overnight. That's all you need to do to make vibrant, exciting, edible, and all natural dyed Easter eggs!
