Usually when we think of dogs, we think of them comforting us. But sometimes, even the happiest animal in the world needs a helping hand.
In the sweet video below, little Jack has noticed that Burt the dog seems to be missing his family. Burt was staying at Jack's family's house for a few days, but the sensitive pup kept walking to the window, sitting there for hours on end, waiting for his owners to come back. So Jack decided it was time to do something to make Burt feel better! Good thing his mom was right there to capture this heartwarming moment.
Sometimes, children really seem to have a special kind of sensitivity. Whether they're comforting a new tiny sibling, or taking care of a younger brother in the most selfless way (like eight-year-old Conner), children routinely have the kind of sweetness and selflessness most adults no longer seem to posses.
When they say no one loves the way a little child loves, they're 100-percent correct! Little children and animals seem to have such a great understanding of the "unconditional" part of unconditional love, and I say we should try to foster that in them for as long as possible!
