A photo of a professor holding a baby during one of his lectures is going viral – for one amazing reason!
Recently, one mom had no other option but to bring her baby to class one afternoon, but when the baby started crying, her professor responded in the most unexpected way. When the mom stood up to leave with the crying infant, Dr. Sydney Engelberg, who teaches at Jerusalem's Hebrew University, scooped up the baby and continued on with his lecture as if nothing had happened.
According to reports, Engelberg has taught for 45 years. He currently teaches the Master's degree program and actually encourages his students to bring their kids to class.
According to the person who uploaded the photo:
“One of the students came with her kid because she didn’t have a babysitter. The kid starts to cry in the middle of the class, so his mom, all embarrassed, gets up to leave… The professor took the kid from her, calmed him and continued teaching.”
Comments on the photo prove just how much it touched some people. While some people may argue that she should have stayed at home instead of bringing the baby to class, the professor’s compassionate reaction is amazing! He might be the coolest professor ever.
