31 Horses Were Drowning In A Flood, Now Watch What The Cowboy Does. I’m In Awe…

When 31 ponies and horses got caught in a flash flood, these beautiful animals had only minutes left to live. But when Will Barret and his young sons realized that time was of the essence, they said a quick prayer, got saddled up, and rode more than a mile in waters up to 4 feet deep to find the missing herd.

It all started when Barret, owner of Cross B Rodeo Company and Boys Ranch, returned home from a quick family outing. Severe weather had blown through the county for the past few days, so when the family finally reached their driveway they were welcomed by a horrible sight.

More than 10 inches of rain had swept through his ranch, everything was submerged by the angry flood, and 31 of their babies had all been washed away and were struggling to survive in the overflowing river nearby.

The poor group of animals were swept away by the angry floodwaters in Eastland, TX. And when the exhausted cowboys finally caught up to all 31 of them, they figured there wasn't much to do; but they were going to try their very best to save as many of these majestic creatures as they could.

Barret and his sons used their roping and riding skills to rescue as many of the desperate animals as they could. When I saw the intense video of what they were up against, I had no hope for the animals, but please watch to find out just how many of their 31 horses they managed to pull out of the flooded river!
