One of the biggest appeals of the tiny house lifestyle is the ability to build your own structure with your own two hands.
But what if the idea and process of home construction frightens you so much, it actually discourages you from engaging in your desire to live a simple tiny house life?
Easy! Have one of the many companies that construct tiny homes, lend you a helping hand.
Creative Cottages, LLC is one of those amazing businesses. Ran by R. McAllister “Mac” Lloyd, a veteran builder and designer, the company focuses on stylish and modern tiny houses that they build in a warehouse in Freeport, Maine and then assembles on site. This style of constructing traditional stick building and panelization offers low impact to environment where the structure is being built, but the perks don’t end there.
Their latest model, the Oceanside Retreat is a gorgeous creation. It looks traditional on the outside and the inside? Elegant just begins to describe it…
Creative Cottages uses environmentally sensitive building practices, utilizing local resources and products as much as possible.
Being the structure is built mostly off-site, the time on-site also means less fuel used for transportation and less local environmental impact from the construction, i.e. less costs for you!
The interior is a spacious one-room palace with a kitchen, living area, and bedroom all nestled around a cozy natural stone gas fireplace.
The full kitchen is clean and white with French country accents.
It’s also a lovely place to entertain or have intimate home-cooked meals.
The master bedroom is located in a loft and looks as comfy and graceful as one you’d find in a multi-million dollar mansion.
The elegant stone-and-tile bathroom offers luxury and functionality.
It is an affordable and adorable place to call your home!
