Some people consider this to be the golden age of film and television, and we're not disputing that. But don't you remember some of the amazing films you watched when you were younger and how much they meant to you? Sharing those nostalgic movies with your kids is a great way to bond with them on a fun family Friday!
Today seems to be the age of sequels and reboots, and while that can be fun and entertaining, some of the best movies of all time were one-offs. Furthermore, some of them were weird. Very weird. But they were most definitely hilarious!
We've rounded up a list of some of the greatest movies from the '80s and '90s that really were special and one of a kind. From The Flinstones to The Brady Bunch Movie, these movies made us laugh harder than we'd ever laughed before, and that's something that's worth sharing with the entire family, don't you think?
1. The Flinstones (1994)
Fred, Wilma, Barney, Betty, and the gang are all back together, but this time it's live-action! Based on the 1960s Hanna-Barbera television cartoon, this stone-age comedy really holds up, and the cast is stacked with your favorite actors, including Rosie O'Donnell, John Goodman, Rick Moranis, and Elizabeth Taylor!

2. Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989)
Don't you remember thinking it would be so cool if you were able to shrink down to the size of an ant and explore the world through the lens of a teeny-tiny creature? That's what happens in this 1989 classic. Another stellar performance by Rick Moranis! Whatever happened to that guy?

3. Clue (1985)
Was it Professor Plum in the study with the rope? Or maybe it was Miss Scarlet in the conservatory with the knife? Either way, it's a mystery! 4. The Brady Bunch Movie (1995)
"They're back to save America from the '90s"! Yes, that's right. The Brady family has jumped a few decades, but that doesn't mean they're any less endearing. Watch as they navigate a "Search for the Stars" contest in hopes of winning the $20,000 prize to save their house.

9. Ghostbusters (1984)
In 1984, we were introduced to Ghostbusters, and we never thought about haunted happenings the same way again. Michael Keaton stars in this Tim Burton comedy-horror film, and it's still a fan favorite. It's a little scary, but kids over the age of 10 will probably love its kooky antics and all of the gross-out prop humor.
