Some people consider this to be the golden age of film and television, and we're not disputing that. Today seems to be the age of sequels and reboots, and while that can be fun and entertaining, some of the best movies of all time were one-offs. Furthermore, some of them were weird. Very weird. But they were most definitely hilarious!

1. The Flinstones (1994)
Fred, Wilma, Barney, Betty, and the gang are all back together, but this time it's live-action! Based on the 1960s Hanna-Barbera television cartoon, this stone-age comedy really holds up, and the cast is stacked with your favorite actors, including Rosie O'Donnell, John Goodman, Rick Moranis, and Elizabeth Taylor!

2. Honey, I Shrunk the Kids (1989)
Don't you remember thinking it would be so cool if you were able to shrink down to the size of an ant and explore the world through the lens of a teeny-tiny creature? That's what happens in this 1989 classic. Another stellar performance by Rick Moranis! Whatever happened to that guy?

3. Clue (1985)
Was it Professor Plum in the study with the rope? Or maybe it was Miss Scarlet in the conservatory with the knife? Either way, it's a mystery! Based on the classic board game, this 1985 ensemble mystery comedy was a true work of genius and starred huge Hollywood stars such as Tim Curry and Christopher Lloyd.

4. The Brady Bunch Movie (1995)

5. Heavyweights (1995)

6. Mrs. Doubtfire (1993)
When Daniel Hillard (Robin Williams) is afraid he's going to lose custody of his kids, he decides to take a job as their nanny?!?! How does he trick his wife and kids into letting him be the nanny? By dressing up in an elaborate old-lady costume and putting on a thick British accent, of course!

7. The Addams Family (1991)
Another great film based on an old cartoon, this supernatural black comedy will be a family favorite immediately. We love watching Anjelica Huston as Morticia Addams and Christina Ricci as Wednesday Addams. It never gets old!

8. The Big Green (1995)
When a teacher from England ends up in a small Texas town with a group of tweens she deems as underachievers, she decides to teach them the game of soccer! They end up entering a local league and surprising everyone!

9. Ghostbusters (1984)
In 1984, we were introduced to Ghostbusters, and we never thought about haunted happenings the same way again. This legendary film with a fantastic cast (Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Sigourney Weaver, and Rick Moranis) was hilarious then, and it's still a knee-slapper today. Even your kids will think so!

10. National Lampoon's Vacation (1983)
When Clark Griswold decides to take his family on a road-trip vacation, you know hilarity is about to ensue. The first iteration of this '80s comedy classic is still one of your favorite movies, and your kids will probably get it!

11. Beetlejuice (1988)
