Elderly Woman Discovers She’s Adopted And Finally Met Her Birth Relatives At Age 98

Ellen Law recently turned 98, but I'm sure that if you were to ask her, she would say that she feels just like a kid again. I mean, imagine meeting your birth family at age 98!

You see, when Ellen was 85, she learned a startling truth: she had been adopted.

The family she had known and loved her entire life was actually her adopted one, not her birth one. Ellen would later discover that her birth parents met in the year she was born but separated, changing their names on Ellen's birth certificate before placing her for adoption.

But that couple then found love again and had two more children, Ellen's siblings, who she didn't even know had existed until she was 85!

Once Ellen discovered the truth, however, she was shocked. But she also felt enlivened by the chance to find and meet her blood relatives.

She spent years searching but didn't have much luck until turning to a DNA genealogist, who located her family in 10 days! In total, she met four biological nieces, who were excited to meet an aunt they didn't know about.

As you'll see in the video below, Ellen's family grew exponentially — a fact that she couldn't have been more thrilled about.
