Supportive Dad Helps His Daughter’s Business Boom By Modeling Her Crocheted Tops Online

Jeff Beaver is one supportive dad, to say the least. That much is evident in the way he's helping his daughter's crocheting business.

That dad is helping to show off daughter Emily Beaver's top designs by modeling them himself. While he may not need the top support, Emily's business does. Thankfully, he's helping to rake in the customers.

On Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms, Jeff can be seen showing off the clothing items from Emily's product line, LoveBeav. He's dancing, posing, and really working it.

That dad and daughter talked to Good Morning America about how her business has been flourishing since her dad started modeling for her. She says she's been crocheting since 2015, but during the summer of 2021, when her parents started modeling the clothes, business has been booming.

"My dad has never been afraid to look silly, especially if he's having fun doing it, so there was never any hesitation on his part," she told the outlet. "The most important thing for me and my parents is that we are spending quality time laughing and enjoying what we are doing."

She also said that if people don't get it, that's fine with her.

She first got the idea to feature her dad after a video of her mom performed well. "The internet totally ate it up and every time I included my parents, I knew that there was something special about the concept of a family wearing crochet tops together," she said. She says she's seen a huge spike in followers as a result.

She was even able to quit her job to focus on her business full time. "I went from barely any sales at all, to usually selling out my entire restock each month," the entrepreneur said. "The biggest win for me, however, has been the opportunities I've had to partner with some of my favorite brands, like [Michaels] Craft Store. I've been shopping at [Michaels] since I started crocheting, so to be able to partner with them and create videos for them has been an absolute dream."

Emily said her parents have always been supportive of her creative ventures, but when it comes to their internet fame, she says they're "loving it."

Still, she says, it's a lot to take in. "I'm still not sure we have even processed it completely."

During a recent festival, Emily said they met a ton of their fans. "We were getting asked for pictures about every five feet during the daytime," she shared. "It has been such an awesome experience to do this together, and we are looking forward to seeing where this leads."
