Michelle Williams And Husband Thomas Kail Have Quietly Welcomed Their Second Baby Together

Michelle Williams and her husband Thomas Kail have welcomed their second baby together!

While the pair have stayed hush-hush about the new addition and reps have yet to comment, Michelle was just photographed with the baby, confirming the arrival. She and her husband were spotted taking a walk in New York over the weekend. Michelle had the new baby craddled against her chest.

The new addition makes Michelle a mom of three! She and her husband are also the parents to son Hart, who was born in 2020.

Michelle's daughter Matilda, whose father is the late Heath Ledger, is now 17. Ledger died in January 2008.

Michelle and her husband are notoriously private people, so it's not surprising that they've kept the birth of their new baby quiet. But Michelle did share her joy at being pregnant once again when speaking with Variety earlier this year.

"It's totally joyous," she said of expecting a new baby.

"As the years go on, you sort of wonder what they might hold for you or not hold for you," she continued. "It's exciting to discover that something you want again and again, is available one more time. That good fortune is not lost on me or my family."

Michelle absolutely loves being a mom and called it "the utlimate creative act." She said, "There's nothing that makes you committed to a better world than raising a great kid."

She continued, "The most ecstatic moments of life and art are the transcendent ones. Having children is like that. You combine your DNA with someone else to create a new life."

Michelle's commitment and love for her family shows in everything she does. In her acceptance speech for her work in Fosse/Verdon at the 2020 SAG Awards, she spoke directly to her daughter, Maltida, and her husband.

"Tommy, like everything else in our life, I share this [award] with you," the actress said, lovingly. "And Matilda, it's one thing to be completely honest as an actor — it's another thing to be completely honest as a human being. And that's just who you are and how you live, and you teach me just by being you."

She ended her speech by saying, simply "I love you and I'm coming home."
