The video starts off by informing viewers that dogs obviously can’t tell you with words, how much they love and adore you, but there are certain signs they show that you can be on the lookout for in your own dogs.
The first sign they describe is the way your dog turns to you when you are outside with them. Even in the middle of their fun rolling around and checking out the scenery around them, they still turn to look at you.
My dog does this all the time, and I always thought it was to make sure I was still there with him! Apparently, they look at you to make sure you are having as much fun as them. How sweet is that!
The next sign they describe is eye contact. With eye contact, there are numerous reasons behind your dog feeling comfortable enough to make long eye contact with you. The dog could be needing help with something, or they want to be loved or congratulated.
The next sign they talk about is something I feel all dog owners struggle with: leaving their fuzzy friends alone at home. In the video, they say that if your dog seems to panic when you are out of sight, your dog hasn’t figured out a way to trust you yet. If this is something that occurs with your dog, don’t worry! It can easily be fixed by simply keeping a set schedule of when you return home each day to assure your dog that you will be back to give them all the love.
