Prince Harry Blames The Daily Mail For Causing Meghan Markle’s Miscarriage In 2020

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have revealed they believe their 2020 miscarriage happened as a result of the intense media intrusion they suffered primarily at the hands of the Daily Mail.

In the Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, the two share their belief that the stress from the experience contributed to the loss of their second pregnancy.

Jenny Afia, who is a lawyer for the couple, also addresses the concern in the docuseries. She admits to cameras that she was aware of "toll it was taking" during their legal fight against the newspaper and shares that Meghan was pregnant but not sleeping well.

Meghan reveals she lost the pregnancy early in their move to California. She says, "The first morning that we woke up in our new home is when I miscarried."

Harry then adds, "I believe my wife suffered a miscarriage because of what the Mail did. I watched the whole thing."

Harry also admits that there is no way the two could know this for sure. He says, "Now do we absolutely know that the miscarriage was created caused by that? Of course, we don't."

Harry then says, "Bearing in mind the stress that caused the lack of sleep and the timing of the pregnancy, how many weeks in she was, I can say from what I saw, that miscarriage was created by what they were trying to do to her."
