Tom Brady Announces 2nd Retirement From The NFL: ‘Process Was A Pretty Big Deal Last Time’

Tom Brady has announced his plans to officially, reportedly, allegedly retire from the NFL yet again. The 45-year-old quarterback took to Instagram to repeat the same announcement he previously made on February 1, 2022.

This time around, Tom's message was short and sweet. Tom began, "Good morning, guys. I'll get to the point right away. I'm retiring. For good."

He continued, "I know the process was a pretty big deal last time, so when I woke up this morning, I figured I'd just press record, and I'd let you guys know first. It won't be long-winded. You only get one super emotional retirement essay, and I used mine up last year."

Tom then praised his friends, family, and supporters. He added, "So I really thank you guys so much. To every single one of you for supporting me: My family, my friends, my teammates, my competitors I could go on forever. There's too many. Thank you guys for allowing me to live my absolute dream. I wouldn't change a thing. I love you all."

Tom famously retired in 2022, only to change his mind 40 days later. The decision to return to the NFL appeared to be unilaterally made and was said to be a major contributing factor to his divorce from Gisele Bündchen.
